Nathan's Family

I absolutely love this family. This was the third time I was lucky enough to have them in front of my camera. Little Nathan was about two months old here -- he and his family had a few hurdles to face right when he was born, but now he's happy and healthy! There is so much love in this beautiful family, I always enjoy spending time with them!

Pregnancy Announcement Photos!

Announcing your first pregnancy -- exciting, nerve-wrecking ... and magical! I met with Becky and Adam on a sunny morning that quickly went a bit downhill weather-wise. We were suddenly in a full on blizzard, and the temperature dropped to about 20 degrees! Good thing we were just doing a quick shoot to announce their pregnancy to family and friends! In the end, even though some of us were very, very cold (Adam), the snow made the whole shoot look pretty magical. Congrats again, Becky and Adam!

Hobie's Family | Grand Rapids Family Photographer

 I love a good family photo session on a farm -- especially if it involves cute kids! Hobie was just a little over a year when we took these photos for the family Christmas card. It was a chilly and windy day, but his cuteness definitely made up for it! This is a family that loves to have fun, and you can definitely see that in their photos!

I have SO many favorites from this absolute gem of a session. This was done on a private tree farm in Ada, MI, and I love the way the setting compliments the family's semi-formal attire. This is a gorgeous family, and I am lucky enough to have photographed them twice now. Little miss curly girl is one of the spunkiest little things you will ever meet -- a big, fun-loving personality straight out of a storybook. She is always on the go, which is why it's so much fun for me to chase her around and take her photo. And this is another mom and dad who have the kind of relationship I love to try and capture on film -- what a fun family. Definitely one of my favorites from the past year!

The Roberts Family - Holiday Minis | Grand Rapids Family Photography

I love shooting this family! This was our third time together, and it's always a lot of fun. The three kids have the sweetest relationship with each other -- and their parents. I've loved watching them grow. And I love the shots I was lucky enough to get of Mom & Dad by themselves. It's great to see a couple so in love after three kids and lots of years together.
